In a powerful gathering of global sports industry leaders, Dr. Ahmed Haleem—renowned architectural consultant and founder of Haleem Consult—was honored at the 7th International Forum for Sports Investment and Industry, held in Cairo under the high patronage of Egypt’s Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly.

Hosted by the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports in collaboration with the Arab Union for Sports Marketing and Investment (ASMIA), the forum has become the region’s most prominent platform for shaping the future of sports economies. This year’s edition welcomed participants from over 40 countries, featuring more than 800 top decision-makers, 80 keynote speakers, and representatives from global powerhouses such as Real Madrid, Liverpool FC, Technogym, and Saudi Arabia’s Leejam Sports.

During the opening session, Dr. Ahmed Haleem was presented with a special recognition award for his impactful contributions to developing Egypt’s sports infrastructure. Through his consultancy work with national institutions like the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Egyptian Armed Forces Engineering Authority, Dr. Haleem has been instrumental in reshaping sports facilities across the country with modern, sustainable architectural solutions that serve both athletes and communities.

In his statement, Dr. Haleem emphasized the power of design in nation-building:

“Sports architecture isn’t just about creating stadiums—it’s about inspiring movement, pride, and potential. It’s an honor to be part of Egypt’s vision for a more dynamic and inclusive sports future.”

The forum unveiled over 300 investment opportunities exceeding EGP 12 billion, including the repurposing of underutilized assets like the historic Hurghada Stadium. It also focused on strategic sectors such as real estate development for sports facilities, youth innovation, sustainability in design, and the integration of sports technology.

The event reflects Egypt’s bold ambition to position itself as a regional hub for sports innovation, tourism, and manufacturing. With thought leaders like Dr. Haleem at the forefront, the transformation is well underway—building not just structures, but legacies.
